Megan and Vince had the most elegant wedding reception at District Winery, but their wedding portraits at the Lincoln Memorial are one of my favorite moments from their big day! Their live wedding painting experience by yours truly was a gift from the Groom and Groom’s family.

Their First Dance Live Wedding Painting

Megan looked like a real-life princess in her beaded ball gown from The Wedding Suite by Nordstrom with incredibly lush florals by La Fleur du Jour. Of course, all of those details made it into their final first dance live wedding painting! Even their parents are lovingly seated at one of the farmhouse style tables watching their two children.

Two of my favorite elements from their piece:

• The colorful sunset views over the Anacostia River

• The table of homemade cakes featured at right. This was a specific request via the Bride. In lieu of a single gourmet wedding cake, the couple asked members of their family to bake their favorite cakes to feature!
