CARE FOR YOUR VISION & CREATIVE EYE
Your painting will hang on your walls forever, so it's essential you love every element of it. I start by listening to your vision and translate it through my impressionist-inspired style. Embracing vibrant colors and strokes to highlight naturally beautiful elements. And, rather than painting every detail exactly as it is, I pull out the most beautiful features that enhance both your painting and memory of your day.
Having painted hundreds of meaningful celebrations, I pay careful attention to the composition of your piece, to present the picture even more beautifully than you remember. So even if your head table faces ornate windows, I'll paint them behind you in order to add another unique element of your day, preserving and painting a moment you can't get any other way.
A COLORFUL COLLECTION OF
- PORTFOLIO -
Here is a small display of the many beautiful moments, people, and places that I've had the pleasure of painting - each unique in their own way.
" I love her bright and colorful style! how she does venues and florals is simply amazing!"
a few of our favorite
Mia & Nick
forest hill, ca
They had to push their wedding date back due to fear of wildfires. Though fires ravaged the hills a few miles away, thankfully, the magnificent view was unaffected!
Larkin & Corey
Charleston, SC
Though the couple married in front of a beautiful, custom panel installation, the beautiful mansion was, technically, behind all of their guests. I flipped the perspective of the painting composition to feature the venue.
Hope & Tyler
Jekyll Island, GA
Hope and Tyler had to change their wedding plans due to both COVID and Tyler’s deployment. The result was a very intimate event in Jekyll Island, GA, one of the few states Tyler could receive approval to travel to/marry in. Per the Bride’s request, I captured their garden ceremony location, but featured the couple in their reception attire in a first dance pose.
Emma & Ryan
Cincinnati, OH
Ryan is the current center snapper for the Indianapolis Colts.
Emily & Raja
Telluride, CO
Though a storm rolled through right after the conclusion of their ceremony, they asked that I envision their moment as a perfect sunny day complete with a fain rainbow in honor of the Bride’s deceased Father.
Becca & David
Eastern Shore, MD
A raging tropical storm didn't stop their special day! I crafted Becca being walked down the aisle by her Dad during our rain plan, flanking the composition with the florals of their ceremony arch.
Alison & Tony
Baltimore, MD
Though A & T exchanged vows in a ballroom space within the aquarium, they requested I paint them as if they were in the middle of the sea life exhibits! I included some of their favorite marine life: puffins and an eel for the Bride, and a sting ray for the Groom.
Sabrina & Ricky
Newport, RI
There was no shortage of gorgeous details to capture during S & R's first dance at the iconic Gilded Age Rosecliff mansion. I decided to paint Ricky lifting his Bride during their first dance.
Katie & Alexander
Brooklyn, NY
K & A enjoyed one of the most iconic backdrops on their special day. We all ended the night on the back deck waving sparklers and singing along to Sinatra's "New York, New York."
"Do it!
the day can be stressful and expensive and there are a bunch of things i’d do different but hiring a live wedding painter - specifically Brittany - is not something i’d change."
