I’m beyond blessed to say that I’ve painted at the incredible The White Sparrow Barn just outside of Dallas a few times now. It’s truly one of my absolute favorite wedding venues! Not only is the staff at the venue wonderful (they always take great care of me), but the way in which the award winning architecture of the barn mixes rustic and elegant makes for a very pretty painting. Devin and Travis are two of the kindest humans. Their love for each other is so contagious and radiated throughout their wedding day! They were also quite the champs. The bride and groom had to postpone their big day earlier in the year because of Covid, but you would have never guessed they had been so stressed. Every detail of the wedding day was still incredibly thoughtful. From the speckled edges on their invitation suite to the calligraphy on their signage. The soft pink bridesmaid dresses next to the deep navy suits of the groomsmen. The lush neutral florals and, of course, their adorable pup Fitz! The Live Wedding Painting Experience

Devin and Travis requested a live wedding painting that would capture their ceremony up-the-aisle exit. However, they also requested that the exterior facade of the lovely White Sparrow Barn be featured as well. Their ceremony actually took place on a separate part of the property, in the woods, where the barn wasn’t immediately visible. However, that’s the beauty of a live wedding painting! We can work together to create a visual moment YOU want to treasure forever. And so, you’ll notice their ceremony altar structure in the background of their painting, along with the backs of heads of some guests at right. In front of the barn facade at left are painted likenesses of all of the parents. I even added one of their floral arrangements in the left corner.
