Newlyweds Kyndall & Jake celebrated Independence Day along with their family and friends by getting married at the White Sparrow Barn in Quinlan, Texas (about 40 minutes outside of Dallas) on July 4th 2019! Their gorgeous wedding day was captured on camera by the talented Madison Katlin Photography, who so graciously shared their final gallery with me. Ready to learn more about their Dallas live painting?
A huge aspect of their wedding day that continuously has me in awe is the fact that so much of it was DIY! Keep scrolling to ensure you check out their amazing butterfly wall backdrop that was created with the help of their families over the course of 4-6 months! It was a showstopper!!
In addition to the backdrop, every single detail of Kyndall and Jake’s big day was so thoughtfully planned. Everything came together so perfectly. From a gorgeous white washed barn venue to their 3 dogs. From the Bride’s father’s llamas to artistic smoke bombs. From the most gorgeous florals and even an Independence Day worthy fireworks display. What could have been better?
Their Dallas live wedding painting (featured at the end of your scroll) was incredibly fun for me! Kyndall and Jake actually requested a duel scene, meaning they wanted both their ceremony and first dance painted on the same canvas. And so, it was up to me to craft the painting in a way that made an outdoor and an indoor moment work cohesively. I decided to keep the entire painting “outside” and feature the exterior of the White Sparrow Barn in the background. Other meaningful details made an appearance as well, including that amazing DIY butterfly ceremony backdrop, lanterns hanging from the trees above, and THE LLAMAS!
For the ceremony moment, I painted the happy couple sharing a smooch and walking up the aisle after becoming husband & wife (at left). To feature a reception moment, the couple is seen enjoying a fun dip from their first dance. And don’t forget their three pups! These guys and gals actually had more of an epic entrance into the reception than their human parents. They arrived on remote controlled children’s cars.
Though it’s been a year since their big day, I’m still just so in love with how everything turned out. Of course, I still adore their completed live wedding painting!
