Katie and Christian hosted the most beautiful wedding day at The Middleburg Barn, a stunning rustic wedding venue in Middleburg, Virginia! The most fun part of this day was that I wasn’t actually hired by the couple. Instead, Katie’s mother reached out to me and hired me as a gift to the couple. I was a complete surprise until the big day! I’ve been hired as a surprise before and each time it is so fun! The shocked expressions on the couples faces is such a joy and an awesome part of my job.

Since Katie’s mom was the one to hire me, we came up with a plan to have me paint Katie and Christian in a first dance post. However, we also decided to incorporate the gorgeous outdoor exterior of The Middleburg Barn. This allowed me to show off the beauty of their wedding venue. Once I was busy working, I decided to include a lot of their ceremony florals and decor because it was so spectacular! Their vendor team (credited below) did a phenomenal job. It was truly incredible!
