Keswick Hall Live Wedding Painting
Ashlyn and CJ's wedding at Keswick Hall in Charlottesville, VA will forever have my heart.
The Bride & Groom requested a painting of their first dance out on the sprawling lawn of the property. Unfortunately, just as their special dance began, it started to pour. As the guests hurried inside for cover, I quickly got back to work. I knew how important their outdoor reception was to the couple, so I was determined to ensure they had a beautiful, rain-free memory of that special moment.
In addition, my Bride had quietly emailed me reference photos of both her and her Groom's Moms. Unfortunately, both amazing ladies were lost earlier in life. However, that's the beauty of a live wedding painting experience: the painting is an opportunity to create a reality in which both Moms were able to watch their children enjoy their first dance.
I can't thank Jess & Doz enough for the incredible series of images below. The team captured Ashlyn and CJ's emotional painting reveal in a series of photographs I will treasure forever.
